Slumdog millionaire my review..

The most talked about movie of the year around the glob "slumdog millionaire " was it worth watching..
I dont think so
Its just a normal film about the slum in mumbai and a boy in slum .who becms millionaire through the tv progrm "who wants to be a millionaire"
But it have to be noted that its a technically advanced film ,the type of cameras used, the type of sound mixing done..etc.
The songs wer done by Rahman, and as usual it sounds great.

A film about India by a foreign director is well accepted all over the world but is not the case with Indian films directed by Indians.

Is that because of the reason that the other countries are finding it hard to accept our films or is there any thing that they don't like , or is it because of the language.! (i know there will be subtitles during the screening but it wont make you feel complety involved in the film )

I think that if slumdog millionaire could get such wide acceptance then the best films produced in India in the past., will be the greatst films the world has ever seen.

:-)

Brand new thin VAIO P (Pocket PC..!)

Sony India has announced the release of the brand new 19.8mm thin VAIO P "Pocket style PC". Weighing in at just 594g, the VAIO P is comparable to a business envelope with regard to its size, and to a cellphone, with regard to its thickness.

The VAIO P has an instant-on 20.3cms LED-backlit screen. Its ultra-wide 1600 x 768 resolution displays the width of an entire page, with no side-to-side scrolling. It also features one-button quick-boot option using a version of Sony’s Xross media bar, the proprietary system that offers fast access to the web, email, photos and more.

One touch can organize documents and arrange all open windows side-by-side on a single screen, cutting clutter and clearing your workspace. A precisely engineered keyboard, built-in MOTION EYE webcam, microphone and noise-cancelling headphones (only VGN-P15G), are few more features included. The VAIO P has a three hour battery life.

Colors and finishes available are natural shimmer and hues of Garnet red, Olivine Green, Obsidian Black and Crystal white. The VAIO P series includes the VGN-P13G for Rs. 49,990 and the VGN-P15G for Rs. 64,990, which will be available at Sony owned stores, select Sony authorized dealers, as well as national retail partners across the country.
